can't access data on my usb mass storage

May 3, 2011 at 05:27:10
Specs: Windows XP
I was working on files on my USB pen drive and was trying to open another file to get a piece of information out of it. However these files that were working correctly earlier on in the day now said they were corrupted and when I removed my memory pen from the computer and put it into another PC , the files were no longer visible. When I looked at the properties of the pen drive it says the disk is full but I can't see my files. I really need these files to submit work for school exams. Please Help Me.

You've asked for help but supplied zero info about your system or USB flash drive.

USB flash drives are unreliable & should NOT be depended upon for critical work. You mean to say you have no other copies?

If you don't use 'Safely Remove Hardware' the drive can become corrupte. A recovery proggrame like 'Recuva' may find the files.
