Hello.. My laptop is having a hardware problem in which it cannot detect a micro sd card in its built in card reader.
I've tried the micro sd card on two other laptops and it works very fine. and when i plugged it into my card reader, the laptop detects it in my computer, but instead of the micro sd card's name, it just named Secured digital storage device.

Try and boot the computer with the card in the reader. Also it may help to open sht system properties page and have the computer scan for hardware changes. It will then load accessible PnP units found.
