cannot adjust resolution on acer 5516

Specs: Windows Vista
My screen went very large. I went to personalization and tried to change the display. But screen is so large that I cannot get to the apply block.

1. Change the resolution to your desired setting.

2. Then press the "Tab" key six times. This should "activate" the 'OK' button even though you can't see it.

3. Now press <Enter>

That's for XP but I imagine Vista is the same.

Edit Apparenty that won't work for the 'display properties' box. I saw it on another thread and just passed it along but didn't try it til now. If Phil22's suggestion doesn't work out, try making the changes from safe mode.

Hi 87, have you tried :-

CNTRL and - (minus sign)

On some machines each time you use, the screen size diminishes.

The opposite is:-
CNTRL and +

Try to enable low-resolution video (640 x 480) by tapping F8 key when u start the system then correct the resolution.
