cannon printer problem

My friend has a cannon 440 inkjet printer and when he goes to print it takes the paper and sounds like its printing but when it spits out the paper it is blank, not even a smudge. He said he has 2 brand new cartriges, 1 color and 1 b/w. Any ideas of what I could do to help him out. I will check devise manager for a comflict but if the printer is running I imagine it isn't a driver issue. Thanks in advance

I had the same problem with a cannon printer myself. Did the exact same thing. Turns out that the print head was shot. Have him take it in and have it looked at. I just went ahead and bought a new one.
