Specs: Windows 7, 4GB
Hi, I just purchased a 64GB SSD drive to load the OS and some programs (for speed of course), but I currently have a hardware RAID on my MB which allows me to RAID1 my 2x320GB spinning disk SATA drives. I imagine I'd need two H/W RAID controllers to have the two drives RAIDed and the SSD not, but is it possible to mirror the 2x320's and keep the SSD as a separate drive using Win7 Pro's software RAIDing options? Thanks!

Depends. We would need to know what you have.

Many raid arrays can have an array and also single drives attached.

I'm specifically interested in using the software RAID through Windows 7 for a mirrored array and a single drive.

I know that my motherboard's RAID won't support both.
