Can this computer handle?

November 10, 2012 at 15:56:26
Specs: Windows 7

So I am going to buy a new computer and focus on gaming.
Here are the specs:
-CeleronĀ® Dual Core G530 (2.4GHz, 2MB, 850MHz , LGA1155) BOX
4GB DDR3 1333MHz
-500GB, SATA2, 7200rpm, 16MB
-DVDRW +R 22x, -R 22x, +RW 8x, -RW 6x, DVD 16x, CDRWR 48x48x40x
-H61, LGA1155, DDR3, PCI-E, SB5.1, Lan, SATA, mATX
-ATX 400W, JNC RJA 8805 ( black)
So can this computer handle games like Battlefield 3 ; Assassins Creed 1,2,3 ; Bioshock 1,2 etc... At medium to high settings and if its possible to run with Fraps.
If this computer just can't handle it would you mind recommending some that will for around 250-300 euro .
Thanks in advance.

What's the graphics card that will be used?

You've been helped by a 15 year old.

Please include the make and model of the system or a link or if custom, the make and models of each of the major components.
As asked above, the graphics card it has or you plan to include/add, will make the most difference in whether it will be suitable for gaming or not. Also, the power supply needs to be able to handle the system as well as the graphics card so we need detailed specs on both of these to verify suitability.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

I'm no gaming expert either but would have doubts about buying anything with the word Celeron attached to it.

Cerelons sandy bridge are not that bad gaming chip but for low budget system i always i recommend AMD system.
Check these hardware how much they cost in your place.

CPU
AMD A8-5600k

BOARD
ASRock FM2A75M-DGS

RAM
(2 x 2GB DDR3 1866 1.5v non-ecc)

Take sata III hard drive.

The integrated Radeon HD 7560D found in AMD A8-5600k is powerful enough to play mentioned titles at medium to high settings. Later u can add a real gaming v-card to improve games performance.

why not go with an i3 second generation sandy bridge processor ?
if ur on a tight budget i would recommend HD 5670 as a gaming graphics card its powerful enough for the titles u said and other titles as well,
take note that HD 5670=9800GT or approximately equal plus it supports DX11

computers are a second home
NVIDIA GeForce

The integrated found in cerelon G530 isn't powerful to run those titles well, even with medium settings u gonna have problems.
The system i recommended(CPU, board and ram only) only cost $183 in US.
