Specs: Windows XP
I keep on trying to open it,when I push the button,it won't open.

Straighten out a paper clip and push end of paperclip into the tiny hole located on the front of the optical drive to manually open the tray.

Often just going to Computer or My Computer, right clicking on the optical drive and selecting 'Eject' is enough to make it open when it is just being 'stubborn' and not really broken. When possible, the manual release should only be used for removing a disk when the drive is bad, the computer does not turn on, or nothing else works.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

It's possible that the molex connector connected to the CD/DVD drive is loose or defected.

Not sure if you want to do this but open up your PC case and have a look at the molex connector that is connected to the CD/DVD drive. Push the molex connector securely into the CD/DVD drive... If it still doesn't open then replace the molex connector with another one which should be supplied by your power supply.

It looks like this:

This link below shows where the molex will be connected. Look at the number 4. Forget about the rest of the numbers.
