Specs: Windows XP, hard drive
i have a critical error with my hard drive and i have lost some importent programs wich i carnt restore with out buying the hole thing again

There are free data recovery programs such as Recuva or Pc Inspector. If the drive is significantly failing as it seems in your case, saving the programs may not be possible. Usually, you are provided a key, which if you can save that, is all that is required to re-install the software. If you do not have original disks or a key, then I think you are stuck. Simply copying the files rarely works, but worth a last ditch effort. If everything is currently functioning ok you may try imaging the drive to a new hard drive, but it requires a bit of know how.

As HpperRox has laid out, your options are limited. If the drive is still functioning to some degree I would suggest using a data cable and cloning ASAP. There are some really good, and very easy to use cloning programs. Best of luck.
