When I press the on button the power button and the Windows Mobility Center lights comes on and then both lights go out. I have removed the battery and the power cord and held the power button down for 30 seconds. Then I have reconnected the power cord and received the same results. I have disassembled the entire computer and removed the hard drive. I then connected the hard drive to my desktop via an usb hard drive adaptor and the hard drive is ok. I also checked the power port for cold solder joints and did re-solder the 3 pins as I could tell that they had been hot. Then I reassembled the computer and received the same results as I did when I started. This makes me suspect the motherboard as the problem.
