can not access my SimpleTech drive.

Specs: Windows Vista

guys,
I came to this posting after my simpoletech drive became un accessiple and thought with the chkdsk I can fix thing but when ran it wiped every thing out. is there is any way I can retrive the data?

Is the drive in question an external hard drive? If so, are you running programs off that drive?

Look at the drive in Windows Disk Management and post any and all information listed there for that drive.

DO NOT try writing anything to that drive until this issue is resolved.

Improper removal of an external USB drive can cause data corruption.
