Specs: Windows 7, 2gb
Hi, i was wondering if the graphics card (AH3450/DI/512MD2(LP) [AGP 8x] ) would work on my motherboard, which is 775vm800.

The video card will work but it's very weak for games.

AGP is dead technology. NVIDIA bailed on it fairly quickly but AMD/ATI stuck with it a while longer to keep the diehard AGP fans happy. The last of the best "modern" AGP cards was the Radeon HD 4670. Before that, the HD 3850 was the best. The HD 4650 is near the top of the list too. IMO, buying a high end AGP card is a complete waste of money. Here's a few examples of the cards I mentioned:

No one reviews AGP cards anymore, but the following chart should still be somewhat helpful for comparing performance. As kuwese stated, the HD 3450 is a very weak card & not good for gaming. As long as you stick to games that are 4-5 yrs old, it should be OK, but don't expect to play any modern titles with it. Even the high end AGP cards listed above are very limited as far as what you can do with them.
