The screen on my iMac (G5) cracked, and it is beyond repair. I have been looking for a monitor I can replace it with, and the only ones are either for the 1.8ghz version, or are close to $300, which I might as well buy another G5. I don't want to loose this one, and I found a website that sells them for about only $80. The only problem is, I have the 1.83ghz intel dual core processor, and the monitor is for the earlier 1.8ghz G5 models. The screens are both 17 inches though. I don't really know much about displays, or if it matters a ton if I get a certain screen over another. So if I replace my screen with that screen, will it work?
