Hi. I currently have a 2.0 intel duo core processor, I would like to upgrade to a 2.4 or higher. Is this possible? If not, can you help me and tell me the price range, please? Thank you.

that depends on the manufacturer specifications of the laptop. you would need to know the motherboard manufacturer and the limits of the socket installed. it's possible but could be spendy.

Laptops are designed to vary the speed of the CPU depending on load. This helps prolong the battery life & helps the CPU to run cooler. Chances are your current CPU rarely runs at 2.0GHz. A RAM upgrade *may* be a better choice...it would depend on how much you have. Other than that, what is it that you're having a problem with that you think a CPU upgrade will fix?
