I want to set up RAID 0 off of my IDE drives. I have a DFI Lanparty NFII Ultra B mobo, and I want to run the RAID off of my harddrive running Windows with an 80 GB drive. I went through the process of installing Windows 2000 professional on another harddrive and setting them to RAID 0 through the disk management thingy, but Windows wouldn't install on the array. I'm now running Windows XP. I'll reinstall it if I can run RAID 0 on it. I think the DFI Lanparty NFII Ultra (not Ultra B) can run it, but I don't know how to do it with mine.

I'm assuming you have sata drives?
I think you have to setup raid from the start. It will destroy all data on both disks 1st.
Then you can install your os.

You need to buy a IDE RAID controller card. It should come with complete instructions on how to set it up from the BIOS and not from within Windows. The former is hardware RAID and the latter is software RAID. Hardware RAID is the way to go.
The first answer is essentally correct in the fact that it will destroy all the data on both disks.
