I find games like MMOs, casual games, etc... don't require much of my mental capacity. I like to play these games in windowed mode and watch youtube videos, movies, whatever.

Now I have 2 montiors and am watching a youtube vidoe on 1, but writing this on a 2nd. My problem is this:

When I open a video game, the youtube video on my 2nd monitor freezes, but I can hear the sound. This is the same every game I have tried. Whatever video is going on on 2nd monitor just stops, and game opens on main monitor. It's weird. How do I fix this?

Some graphics cards by default are not very good at split screen activities, I know for example ATI had a recall on a couple cards because of that.

However, most new games out there lock your system to only use the current and primary monitor (meaning you'd have to minimize the game to control the other screen).

But to answer your question, yes, you can do this.

I don't know how to close this, so I"ll respond with an answer. On gamespot, someone advised me to diable hardware acceleration in Adobe flash player. :P It worked, and I can watch youtube videos while playing a video game. thanks! Maybe I'll keep this open in case someone else has this problem. thanks
