saw this Samsung 'Best Seller' SM913N 19" TFT 8ms 700:1 (1280x1024) Monitor - Silver & Black on ebuyer lookin at it appears to be good 4 gameing but it comes in the vga two screw connector like on my vurrent crt which suprised me as imagined all tft came with dvi only would it be possible to get this tft in with dvi connection or can i get a converter that converts from dvi to analogue

You could use a standard video card with analogue output. It is in effect a DVI to Analogue converter. I'm not sure if you can find a DVI to analogue converter.
Sorry, I do not check for private messages

what would be the point of using a DVI to analog convertor, the signal would still be analog coming from the video card?

"as imagined all tft came with dvi only"
Nope. You can probably get a very similar model with digital output, but it will cost more.
If you really want the best for gaming, new crt's are better than LCD's.Like ham30 said, I don't think you can get adapters that will convert a DVI monitor to a VGA port, and even if you can you would lose the advantage of having a DVI monitor.
There are DVI to VGA (15 pin D-sub)adapters, but they are meant for video cards that have a DVI port, to connect to a VGA monitor - the genders are opposite to what you would need.
You could get another video card with a DVI connector and use it with a DVI monitor, and have the digital advantage.

I'm planning to buy 6 19" lcd monitors and keeping my eyes on 19" lcd monitors for a while. The following 2 models have DVI.
