|Forget it. laptop motherboards are custom-made for the laptop manufacturer. They don't conform to a standard form-factor or fixing method like desktop motherboards.|
Unless you can buy a mobo direct from Asus, and they assure it will fit and will support the CPU you have in mind, it's just going to be one big headache which may involve money wasted.
If you were simply doing a straight swap, like-for-like because the old mobo was faulty, that's a different matter.
