can connect pc to laptop..??

Hi Engineers..

I want to ask you which i dont knw really..

My question is that I have a DELL laptop and its working on XP,
and i have a P4 system , which doesnt have monitor,
I want to work on my system by connecting to laptop and I even dont have the any kind connections like LAN and MODEM to access though RDP and all..

can I access that P4 system by connecting to my laptop..?? if yes.. than suggesty me.

"I even dont have the any kind connections like LAN" Are you saying that either the PC or Laptop does not have an RJ45 LAN port? You will need to connect the desktop system to a monitor in order to install or enable any RDP.

You will need a Cat5 crossover cable to connect the LAN ports of laptop & desktop.

Hi rechards..

I'm talking about, without any connection of LAN.. I mean as like P4 machine should boots and the all contents of the P4 mchine should see on laptop display,like one monitor running two pc togather..

No Connection - No Data Transfer - No Display. With a serial port character mode only is possible, The only other method is a video input converter for the laptop. Get a new monitor or LCD tv with vga input.
