i got an extra internal hard drive. it has some documents, programs, and files. they are so big. its like more than 3GB. i wants to bring it to my work place and transfer some data to the pc where i work. but the problem is, i(employee) cant open the computers. so is there any cable cord that 1 end is IDE port and the other end is USB port? or is it possible that an internal HD can be use as an external HD? thanks!

Google for USB Hrad drive enclosure. You can just pop your hard drive in & off you go.

As mentioned, the majority of external hard drives are just standard, internal IDE drives in a case which has a bit of electronics to convert their I/O to USB so it's very easy to get either an enclosure or adapter - they will all do the job for you.
