I know it is ATX but DELL often has proprietary hardware and I need to make sure mobo will fit before I buy. Most X58 boards are 12+ inches wide and Apevia rates their Cruiser 2 @ 12 inches MAXIMUM for ATX. If anyone knows more about this I would appreciate additional input.
Do you only have the board or do you have the Dell tower too? If you have the Dell tower, what's to be gained by putting the board in an aftermarket case other than appearance? $75+ is a lot to spend on something that does nothing to improve performance. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...
And if you have the board, all you need to do is measure it. If you don't have the board, why would you buy an OEM Dell board rather than an X58 board that will allow you to tweak BIOS settings? In fact, why would you want to invest in the already discontinued LGA1366 platform?
