Greetings ! I have a Dynex 56K fax/modem model # DX-M300. Because I bought it from e-bay Dynex won't provide technical support. I have only one telephone line and I am on the internet a lot of the time and miss incoming phone calls. I want to install a program named "Audio Caller ID" but my modem has to be TAPI compliant. Any one have any ideas if the DX-M300 is TAPI compliant.

AFAIK a modem must have voice drivers and sound devices to work with Windows TAPI, and what you have is just a Data/Fax modem.
However you are not interested in voice recording but just caller ID, your modem detail clearly states that it supports the modem-on-hold feature which lets you accept incoming phone calls while online.
