Calculating end of the Unix timestamp

Specs: Windows 7, Virtual PC
Would this be true?

I was using UNIX in a Virtual machine, and decided to calculate the end of the Unix timestamp. Well, most people say that the end is 1/19/2038. However, upon calculating it down to the second, I found that the last second is 1/18/2038 @ 21:14:07. Somebody else check this out.

Is that like one of those 2012-end-of-the-world-things?

Now that's what I call a sticky situation

The best way to find this is to do an internet search.

32-bit overflow of the time base. A 64-bit will extend it quit a bit.
