OK, here is the deal. I have d-loaded w2k3 from microsoft, burnt the ISO image to CD-R, Rebooted and used a bootdisk to open My CDROMS and try to enter the setup.exe file...I get this error message. "CDR103: CDROM not high Sierra or ISO-9660 format reading drive X:, Abort, Retry, Fail?" I used the bootdisk because in Windows eXplorer the ISO image won't even show up in the drive when I click On it...but I know it is there, the ROMS are just not reading it, Another error message informs me about it being a format that windows can't recognize, but I assure you I have burnt it properly and all.
So...what do I do now? I have updated the firmware of my Drives. Reinstalled them...still no prevail.

Check what format the ISO image is with your burning software? It does need to be in ISO Class 1/Joliet for Windows to recognise it. Since you say you dl'ed it from online the fault could be with the source who supplied it messing up the image, or as it isn't even seen in explorer, it could be a bad download. :)

The drive is bad (or I suspect it is).

I have seen that exact message on old drives before. They will work sometimes and other times not. Replace the drive and they seem to work fine.

I could see the bad drives thing....but they are brand new, and both have the axact same problem reading this file. I also have 2 other drives that are 6 months old...same deal. The file is readable in eXplorer, just isn't readable AFTER it is burned to CD IMAGE. I used thos eXact formats "ISO Class 1/Joliet for Windows to recognise it" to burn this file as well. I can relate to it being a bad d-load though...it is highly possible. Right now I am just thinking that my ROM drivers don't support the format? I am Not at all 100% sure.

Hello,
You can try daemon-tools; see also this
page. Another thing you can try is WinISO
good luck!

You can try use WinIOS software to view the IOS file first, If WinIOS can't read that file, I think that is a bad file

Was about to suggest that - I have CloneCD which sets up a virtual CD drive to read ISOs. Lot cheaper than collecting coaster. ;)

The ISO was bad...well some sectors in it were bad..Doesn't matter now though. I now have the w2k3 CD from microsoft so all is well.
