Hello, my dvd burner is acting wierd. I am currently using Maxell DVD+R disks. I had already burned videos onto about 10 disks then all of a sudden my burner no longer accepted the disks. When I insert a disk the tab in My Computer goes from "DVD-RAM drive" to just "CD-Drive". What's with that? Is it just the disks? Should I change and get another type?
My dvd burner is HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GSA-H54N (thats what it said when i went to the device manager box)
On the front of the burner it says "super multi", "RW DVD+R DL", "LG", "DVD Multi Recorder" and "Compact Disc Rewritable Ultra Speed".
I just don't get it, it has been so good, I've already burned at least 80 discs.... the burning program i use says that i am "using the wrong disk, insert a double layer dvd+r or a double layer dvd-r." It has never done that before :(
Any help would be awesome! :)
