Bundles software with mustek 1200ub

Friend purchased a mustek scanner from a pawnshop and only got the scanner, no disk or nothing. I downloaded the drivers off of the internet and got the scanner working with xp but I only have one application that can use the scanner which is open office. What scanning software was bundled with this scanner from the factory and does anyone know of some good freeware scanning software that might work with this scanner? Drivers are in, just need software to operate it. Mustek has the drivers for xp to download but not the software that operates the scanner. Thanks.

Some graphic programs like PhotoShop and Paint Shop Pro can access scanners.

Yeah I know but I also know my friend doesnt have those so that is why I am trying to locate something free or the original bundled stuff that works. Thanks.

Without looking.... I got two discs, one for the drivers and the other was Ulead Photo Express version 2 or 3. I also got a similar package with my camera, which is why I can't remember which version came with which.

Thats what I am mising then is the Ulead photo express! Crazy they will let you download drivers from their website but not software to run the scanner.

Well I found another application that would use the scanner and works fine so I will put it on my friend. Irfanview is free and gives the option to acquire from scanner so its just what the doctor ordered for this situation. Thanks anyway.
