You've gotta do better than that. We need the make/model of your laptop & an explanation of the problem. If your laptop does have "built in RAM", what makes you think that is the cause of your problem?

the model of my laptop is afina AL7180c. everytime i power on my laptop, it gives me 3 short beeps and no screen display. i've search the manufacturer of the BIOS of my laptop for the beep codes, i found out that it's memory failure, i've test my external memory and it's working fine. need help! tnx

"i've test my external memory and it's working fine"

How did you test it? Has it EVER worked in this machine before? If it's new RAM, did you make 100% sure it's compatible with your system before you bought it?

And what about this 'built in' RAM...how much is built in? 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, more than that? Is it used by the system or just the graphics? Did you try booting without the removeable RAM installed?

how did i test it? by inserting it to another laptop, i've checked the frequency and they're the same.

the built in RAM is 128mb, it is used by the system. i've tried booting my laptop without the external RAM and still gives me the same symptoms. i also tried to remove the HDD but still the same.
