OS: win98
CPU/Ram: 500mhz/96mb

I am assebling a new computer. But It won't pass post. The computer first checks the ram and ide drives like it suppose to and than jumps to the bios screen and gives the following message:
"The system intruded, chassis opened or tempered before please check the system."
Is anyone familiar with this message??? Did I wreck the mobo?

Sounds like you've connected the intrusion
alarm, and switch is open. Unless you have a use for it, the alarm, find the wires and disconnect. Good luck.

Or you may just make sure the case is fully closed.
