I don't have any requirements as to what it will be used for or upgraded in the future. I am taking a college networking course and all we were told was to buy an HP server that cost over $50thousand. I couldn't find one, of any sort, already made for that price. My problem is i don't know enough about all of the options you get when you choose to customize an existing server (to increase the price) and the additional options you have to choose from from the drop down menus. How do you know if what you choose is compatible?
FUNNY!! You must be married!! lol I found out that i was stressing over knowing what things did and what went with what...I actually got an email telling me that yes, i only had to worry about buying a server that cost over $50 thousand.....i didn't have to understand the details yet. Now that is good for this assignment but scares me for what is to come!! For now my assignment is finished, successfully. Thank you for all of the help and the laugh! The class is computer networking.....
Ok I'm new to the IT world and have just started taking classes. While going to college I want to be able to run my own private Shaiya server. What I need to know is everything i need to build a good server for this. (Shaiya is a mmo game just add in case)
