Been out of the loop for a few years. How does this look? How would crysis do on this rig? Tolerable? (not looking for OMFG 9000FPS on high settings)
If you have any suggestions, please :)

-Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 Wolfdale 2.66GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80570E8200
Total: $640 Can save $80 more with rebates.

You can get 4GB DDR2-800 for $29 after rebate with free shipping, but you gotta act quick:

The Wolfdale runs at 1333MHz FSB (333MHz) so all you really need is DDR2-667 (333MHz) to be able to run in sync. DDR2-800 (400MHz) will still still allow you to overclock the CPU to 1600MHz FSB (400MHz) if so desired. DDR2-1066 is unnecessary.
Look for a board based on the P45 chipset, not the P43.

Cross posting about the same topic in more than one forum is a violation of CN rules. I had replied to your post in the gaming forum but I see it's been deleted. Here's a brief recap:
- the Intel 975 chipset doesn't support 1333MHZ FSB so you're gonna have to choose a different mboard. Go for a P35 or P45 based board made by Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Biostar, etc. Do NOT buy an Intel board.
- DDR2-667 (333MHz) is the proper speed for running the RAM in sync with the E8400 but you don't necessarily have to use DDR2-667 RAM. DDR2-800 is usually cheaper...all you have to do is manually configure it to run as DDR2-667.
- the Rosewill PSU you chose is made by ATNG from Taiwan. It has 50A on the +5v rail...that accounts for 250W. It's a scam/trick that *some* manufacturer's use to falsely inflate the overall wattage rating of their units. It's a 400W PSU at best.
Did you look at the suggestions I made above?
