okay i have just built a new system.
a7n8x-e delux
amd 2500@2.13ghz
corsair xms ddr400 ram
seagate 160gb hard drive
radeon 9200se
vantec aerflow 2 cpu cooler
antec tru power 550 watt power supply.

now for some reason on this syste which should run pretty smooth i have very random bsod's.

i've had as follows.
pfn_list_corrupt
irql_not_less_equal
win32k.sys stop error

my question is my cpu runs at 34C idle
42-45C under load.
my ram has took 48 hours of memtest no errors.

what exactly is causing my bsod as they are entirely random i'm usually good at trouble shooting but this is really annoying me.
i have spare components just its hard to test as for instance my pc has been on now for 3 hours (with use) no bsod.
but sometimes only lasts 20 mins.
any help would be very much appreciated

Try setting your virtual memory to system managed size, also check your ram timings in the BIOS and ensure they are not too tight.

my timings are 8 3 3 3t
is that what they should be?
i thought this would be a trouble free system.
could it be the rubbish gfx card or would that not really do much?
thansk for your response

Try 3-4-4-8 or (as you would 8-4-4-3) see if it helps any. The video card may be a bottleneck for the system but I doubt it is the cause of the BSOD's.

Are you also up to date with your OS and hardware drivers and is there a BIOS update available for your board.

most drivers upto date apart from the bios. reason why is because i'm on a 56k at the mo and in 3 days back at uni on a lan 10mb so i'm going to play around then with bios etc. as i can download updates again if it goes wrong very quickly
