Comment:

Im always getting blue screens, its random sometimes its every 5 mins sometimes I wont get any in 7 hours.

Ntfs.sys
viaide.sys
tcpip.sys
kmixer.sys
win32k.sys
fltmgr.sys

Not sure if I wrote all the erros but those are the stuffs that usually shows up whenever I get one.

I tried seaching about those problems and most of them are caused by drivers, im not sure though. I'm planning to update my drivers but I'm not sure what/where to download. I tried using a 3rd party app to check my drivers if its updated or not.

results are:

Tornado GeForce2 MX/MX 400
VIA Bus Master IDE Controller
Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC
VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller (WDM)
(2) PCI standard ISA bridge
PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge
(2) VIA Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host Controller

Is it right to update my drivers? Can anyone help me where to download the drivers. I really need your help guys. Thanks!

"Can anyone help me where to download the drivers"

Either go to the motherboard manufacturer's website or if you have an OEM system (Dell, Gateway, HP/Compaq, etc), go to the system manufacturer's website, or go to the individual hardware manufacturer sites.

They would be:

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/inde...

http://www.viaarena.com/default.asp...

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/

Also check for errors:

You will have a better chance of getting meaningful advice if you give accurate information on your system specification including the CPU and RAM specs as well as info on whether your system is name-brand or a custom-build.
Next, tell us whether this system has ever worked correctly or is it a new instal?
Have you run any system diagnostics such as antivirus scans, adware/spyware scans?
Have you run defrag? Have you run CHKDSK to check for errors in the drive?
If the system ever worked properly did you try a system restore to a time before the problems began?
Sometimes these problems are caused by hard drive faults. Have you run any kind of diagnostic tool to check?
Did you instal any new hardware or software immediately before the problems began?

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

CPU: Intel Pentium 4, 1800 MHz (18 x 100)
Motherboard: ECS L4VXA2 (5 PCI, 1 AGP, 1 CNR, 3 DIMM, Audio)
Chipset: VIA VT8754 Apollo P4X400
Memory: 512 MB (PC3200 DDR SDRAM)

Its custom built.

I asked a friend to reformat the computer, since then problems started to occur. I guess it's the faulty drivers but I dont know.

After a format & reinstal of an operating system it is usually necessary to instal motherboard chipset drivers from the driver disk that came with the board. Drivers may also be required for any other peripheral devices such as graphics card, network cards etc.
Download them from the particular maker if you don't have them on CD
