I just bought a bse data storage hard drive not knowing what it really is. I had hooked it up and it seemed to be running fine, before i could get the OS installed, the pc shut down on me. now i dont have so much as a beep. Almost as if the board fried. I gave the HD to a bud to try out, and the same thing happened to him. the psu comes on, the fans will run, but that is all. Do you think that maybe there was something with the drive. it was a sealed drive. I dont want to attempt it on another computer if its just going to fry all my boards.
