Broadcom wireless driver uninstalls its self.

Specs: Windows 7 pro, AMD Turion 64x2 /2 GB RAM
I have an hp dv6000 laptop that I installed windows 7 pro on and all was working great for about 2 weeks. Then all of a suddon I have no wireless.... I looked in my device manager and my network adapter was gone; it uninstalled its self. So I went to the broadcom web site found the driver and reinstalled it...... It worked fine for a few days then again it uninstalled its self! Why does it keep doing that? Please help.

Well, it should not ever.

It could be a defective wireless device. In some odd case I guess some software issue.

I doubt it but turning it off or even standby or hibernate may cause it.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
