Specs: Windows XP, Athlon X2 250 / 2 GB PC26400
Hello, I am worried that when i buy this GTX 460 in a couple days i won't get alot of performance out of it, I have a Athlon X2 250 Duel-Core (3.0GHZ) is there any sites that shows benchmarks with the X2 250 and recent GPU's? I was planning on buying Black Ops till i heard that unless you have a Quad Core you will have terrible performance, true ?....and if i do bottleneck roughly how much performance would i lose? Would i still be able to run at max settings on 1680/1920 resolution on most games?

PS cannot OC its OEM, Thanks

Kush420, what part in your last post didn't you get? Black ops requires a triple core processor. Check the machine you have now here...

How many times are you going to ask the same questions? You've already been shown that your board doesn't support Quads due to the wattage restriction so upgrading the CPU is pretty much out of the question. If you're so concerned about bottlenecking, either buy a weaker video card that you're sure won't be bottlenecked or buy a new motherboard & new CPU. IMO, your concerns are completely unwarranted. What you should be worried about is your crappy power supply plus the fact that you only have 2GB RAM.

"Black ops requires a triple core processor"

Not true. There are minimum specs & recommended specs. The AMD X3 is recommended but it's not required.
