My neighbor gets a message when he boots up saying to "enter CURRENT password" It happens so fast I can't even get into the BIOS. It's on a black screen with white letters. It will only let you type in 7 characters and let you try it 3 times at which point the cursor turns into a little smiley face. any suggestions.

You should remove the bios battery inside of the machine and olso remove the power and wait for a 15 min and then put the battery in it's place and turn your machine on, then see what heppend.

when you remove the BIOS batery the settings of Bios will Set in Default mode so the boot password and Bios Password will bee removed

maybe is helpfull to youl.
