Specs: Windows XP

Hi! I have a HP Compaq D530 CMT and I added 512mb of RAM to my 1gb ,same frequency and everything...but when I boot all thought it recognizes the upgrade and asks me if I would like to save the changes I still can't hit F1 or any button at that won't respond to my commands. Now I also tried several keyboards and still get the same results. Please note that this 512mb stick was working before i tried to switch it with a 1gb, but when i tried to put it back this problem has occurred . What should I do? Thanks in advance for your time and help.

You left out that it's an EVO.

If you're using a USB keyboard, switch to a PS/2.

Also, your board supports dual channel so you should be using matched pairs plus placing them in the correct slots to enable dual channel mode.
