Comment:

I have a K6-2 450MHz CPU running on AOPEN AX-59PRO Motherboard. I'm using Creative TNT2 Ultra 32MB AGP card & 256MB SDRAM.

The problem is: when i switch on the power, nothing comes up, not even a "beep". Normally i'll have to wait for around 15mins, hit reset button, and then it'll boot up. If i reset it within 15mins, it won't boot up even after 2 hours. After it booted up, t work normally (no hangs) and could be reset without a problem.

Could any experts tell me what is the cause of the problem?

sounds like a grounding problem something is grounding out the motherboard thus not alowing it to turn on with your switch, i would dismantale everthing and install it again..if thats not it the powersupply could be faulty also rANdoM starts point to that also.
