My computer makes the beeping sound right after it checks the memory and for my hard drives and cd drives. The screen flashes and goes beep beep beep...... Any idea on what it could be. I have a asus motherboard.

Does it say any POST errors of any kind? look in the manual that came with the motherboard and see what it says about beep signals. Usually, it would say that a certain amount of beeps means something.
