Comment:

The MB Wont reconise a primaster master or a secondary master, Just primary slave and secondary slave.

The HD I put in has 2k on it, With a diffrent cpu core install. So of course that wont work. So i try to boot up the computer off the cd rom so i can do a reinstall, But it will go to Boot from ATAPI CD-ROM:

And just sit there, Every so often reading the cd rom, But then after about 30-45 Minutes it gives some off TRAK error msg i never seen before. About the slave/master problem, I tryed all diffrent jumper settings, IDE Ribbons ect. Diffrent CD Rom's as well. Then i figured i would try and boot from a floppy even though i sworn them away a few years ago. But the Floppy connector is a non-standard port, Instead of the 2nd pin being the blank, Its 2 pins in. So i cant boot off a floppy, I cant boot off the CDROM and i cant boot off the hd.....I even tryed booting from a jump drive, But the bios doesnt have the option to boot off of a USB Device. And of course i cant flash the bios becuase i got no floppy drive...Anyone got any answers? Or am i just SOL.

It should boot regardless. You may have problems related to different hardware, but it "should" boot.

It sounds like you're either not configuring the drives correctly, or there's a problem with the board's IDE controller. My guess is, it's a configuration problem.

1st of all, make sure you know which jumper is which. You don't say how many total IDE devices you have, but if it's just 2 (HDD & CD-ROM), the HDD should be primary master & CD-ROM should be 2ndary master. Do NOT use the cable select jumper...use the MASTER jumper only. Some HDDs have a different jumper setting when the drive is a master w/o slave, or master w/slave. The settings should be printed on a label on the top of the HDD. If not, go to the manufacturer's website & see if you can find a diagram.
