Subject: Boot Failure:Need assistance
OS: Windows XP Pro SP1
CPU/Ram: AMD Sempron 2200+/768MB R
Comment:

I need to disable HD caching on my computer because SP1 does not have this thing to fix the problem I am getting in boot which is UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME 0x000000ED or the missing ntdll.dll file. My friends say just disable the caching option on my computer in bios and that might fix it but I don't know what I am looking for and if it is even there. I have an ASRocks K7SG41GX motherboard with Western Digital 160GB

It all lies within the 0's and 1's

I think you are getting bad advice from your friends. The above advice looks much better.
