Plan on making a big purchase, soon. I just bought the Tungsten T3 and dig it. Want to know what is the best laptop/ cell phone combinations I should consider via Bluetooth so I can access the internet and files wirelessly. My organization needs me very mobile. I have researched Bluetooth, and think it suits my needs. I would dig all opinions, especially the best kinds of service on the cell and if this is even wise/feasable on a hardware/networking basis? Please advise. So Cali, Education, to let you know the cell/service needs.

Hi
Zoetrope
i would suggest a Samsung SGH v200
blue tooth enabled, triband Us or Europe
you can also buy a datacable which connects to serial port, also has Infra red connection tho thats slow.

internet speeds via datacable ; i had 100kbs ( yeah suprised me ), depends on your network.

most ppl use a Nokia 6510i which have same specs.
the samsung i like and is neater.

http://www.samsung.com/Products/MobilePhone/GSM/MobilePhone_GSM_SGH_V200_sp.htm

oh it has a built in camera, wap, sms etc.

hope this is a start.

(if your mobile then dont forget the important part is the network coverage)

Hi again
, sorry for the delay
i set up the infrared and lol what a shambles it was xp works but the phone switches off every few mins i wouldnt bother again too slow if your sending large emails or pics etc.
Use a data lead fast and easy xp picks it up straight away,
The blue tooth works fine cant tell any difference bettween that and a data cable.

I had a look at Nokia phones here in the UK the better ones are packaged with 12 month contracts i cant be bothered with too expensive tho a m8 says his 5510 works fine using a data cable, tho ir is naff.
looking at an "Nokia En-gage" next

;) Xoglet
