Try booting up in safe mode with the monitor connected to the video card. Then update the drivers for the video card. What type of video card is it, and did it work OK before ? It's also possible that the video card is overheating-try blowing dust off the fan and also make sure all of the connections are secure.

I dont think the video card is the problem, because i put a new card in (GeForce FX 5500) and the same problem occurs.
could there be a hardware problem with the motherboard?

Blue screens can certainly be caused by a hardware problem(bad RAM, failing psu, etc.), but you stated "When i remove my graphics card and plug my monitor into the motherboard, The problem goes away"
For how long did you uise the onboard video ?
If that is really the case, then I still would suspect something to do with the video card. When you used the video card, did you uninstall the drivers for the onboard video first ? Though it's not always necessary, did you disable the onboard video in the bios ? Also, what speed is the AGP set to in the bios ?
