Hi,
When I wake up my computer from standby, it takes it a while to wake up but sometimes it doesn't. Many times the led for the hard drive stays on and it makes several beeps. Usually it would finally wake up but sometimes I had to turn off the computer because it would not wake up. Today I heard several beeps and I got a blue screen and this is what it said "STOP: c000007b unknown hard error". How can I fix this problem? Thanks, MOHAA

Go to your hard drive manufacturer's site and download a diagnostic tool or try this online diagnostics. I hope you have a backup because your drive may be heading south ;~(.

more helpful comments at http://www.experts-exchange.com/Hardware/Desktops/Q_20832764.html most thought it was the hard drive but one guy suggested taking the side panel off and blowing air from an external fan into the case in case the problem is caused by an overheating component.
