my computer has been restaring for about one month for no reason. I have norton anti-virus and Do not have any viruses. I have check my ram and it is perfect. I got a blue screen saying that my computer must restart due to fatal errors to prevent damage. It suggests turning off Caching and to make sure your hardaware is properly installed so I disabled caching and ran the device setup wizard to see the only thing it found was a RAID controller that wasnt installed but i couldn't find any downloads that helped. Could this be a powersupply problem? Thanks in advance for any help.

Possibly, however more information is required. If your motherboard has a PC health monitor on it you can access this and establish your system temperature and CPU temp. This will establish if it is an issue with overheating which is a big cause for systems restarting. Also, what have you got in your system? If you have a large number of cards and fans and only have a 300w PSU then your system is more than likely under-powered and this is also a common cause for system restarts.

I get those error messages in the blue screen.

As far as cards go I only have my graphics card (nvida geforce 4) and my linksys lan card.

hmmm that seems to be a registry error code. Have you got a backup of your registry you can fall back to? Or have you tried reinstalling windows?

I haven't yet because I'm not 100% sure it would fix it.
I caught all the error message and @ the top it says

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

whatever that means is beyond me. I hope it helps...

Check the blue screen you get for a driver name, especially the driver for that linksys card. I'm having problems with mine currently (its a wireless card though) and I get the same sort of errors (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) and it says my wireless drivers name at the bottom. Personally, I'm starting to suspect linksys products of being complete crap, but thats just me.

Hate has a way of closing the eyes, the ears, and the hearts of men.
