my email address: kool20000@hotmail.comthanks!!

Hi Kool.
I had that happen when I had an NVIDIA card. I had to install the nv4_disp.inf file manually.
Find the nv4_disp.inf file on the manufacturer's cd for your video card, or if you downloaded new ones, in the directory you have the downloaded drivers. This is so you can manually install that file when the menu asks for its location. ( I can't remember if I found the file prior to installation or not. If you can't find it, try the installation procedure below and see if it shows up in the list. )
From the Start menu, select SettingsSelect Control Panel
Select System
Select Device Manager
Under Display adapters, select the name of the NVIDIA adapter you have installed.
Select the Driver tab
Select Update Driver
Select Next
Select Next
Check mark - Specify a location
Select Next
Enter the path to the NVIDIA drivers in the "Copy manufacturer's from:" dialog.
Select OK
If you get a dialog box that states "A suitable driver for this is already installed", click in the box next to "Install one of the other drivers" to place a check mark in the box.
select Next
Select your NVIDIA adapter from the list and choose this file -
nv4_disp.inf
Select Next
Select Finish
Select Close
Restart computer.
Take care,Linda
