Specs: Intel core 2 quad CPU, Intel Core 2 quad cpu 9550 @ 2.83GHz
My computer froze a few days ago and the monitor showed no signal, my friend said the video card might be loose, so I took that off and put it in. It fixed the issue, but moving my computer a little bit causes the problem again. Yesterday it froze, and when it restarted it went to the ASRock screen with options to go into BIOS or Boot Menu. The keyboard was working then. I waited it out and it went to the screen where you pick modes to start windows after an unusual restart. The keyboard stopped working, and after 30 second it defaults start windows normally. It goes to the screen with the XP flag and then blue screens, and restarts to the ASRock screen before I can read what's on it.

Test the hard drive with the drive maker's diagnostic software for DOS. The links are here:

The download includes an ISO file from which you can create a bootable CD using this:

When you've made the CD, boot your PC from it. If the test has the option to run a short or a long/extended test, choose the long/extended one. If the test says drive failure you will have to replace it.
