Hi,

Whenever I put a Bass Tester on my Cambridge FPS2000 Digital speakers, it distorts. It never used to before with tthe bass testers and I just got the volume control fixed. Could it be a connection problem?

Most likely it's a seal that broke. Subs are sealed in their box and the air behind them sucked out. This results in pure sound emmination and much clearer bass. It's not something you are going to be able to fix yourself. Take it to a stereo repair facility if the speaker is out of warantee.
