Comment:

I have a HP laserjet 2200d which came over to Australia from the US... I didn't realise it was from the US so I plugged it into an Australian voltage power socket and blew the power. Naturally it won't start now.

Anyone know whether it would be a simple fuse, or something more difficult to fix? If it is a fuse, how do I find it??

Help much appreciated!!! Thanks!

i am afraid your printer is gone..you probably blewed the power circuit inside the printer. There is no fuse inside the printer either.

maybe you can take it to someone that know how to fix electronics

If it's an expensive printer, find an authorized HP repair shop and see what it would cost for repairs. I once sent a high end ink jet in and it only cost $40 in repairs. Good luck

We can fix this, but you're gonna need a butter knife, a roll of duct tape, and a car battery
