Comment: I have a very frustrating problem and i was wondering if any could help?? I have just installed a motherboard with a k6 450mhz processor with 128mb ram and and 6Gb HDD. When i turn the Computer on i get a blank screen and continous beeps. I have tried a different CPU + Ram and it still does it! Any ideas? Cheers

Reply: (edit)The beeps are important, exactly how many are you getting? are the gaps in-between beeps long or short? Some people are like Slinkies™, not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...

Reply: (edit)I have only got one card in there which is the graphics card and its not loose. Its a VA-503+ Mobo so i will have to try and find the manual off the net for it,

Reply: (edit)Continous beeps usually means no RAM installed/detected. Most other problems give a set number of beeps, but check your MB/BIOS manuals.

Reply: (edit)my computer did that on and off for a while and i took out the graphics card and then put it back in and it was fixed. Think about getting some contact cleaner or something similiar.
