Have a pc-system which is fully working but after replacing a Abit X700 pro with a X600 XT the system only show black screen on bootup. I can't see bios or anything else, the monitor will switch to sleep-mode after approx. 5 sec after boot. Have tried to find a solution on the many forums around but without any result. Have tried to remove all devices, switch back to the X700 pro GFX but that won't work either.

My motherboard is a Asus P4GPL-X with the newest bios installed before I switched the GFXs.

What to do?

Any comments are welcome :-)

Going from the X700 Pro to the X600XT is a downgrade...what was the purpose?

Did you confirm that the system would boot & work properly after the BIOS flash?

Yup, it appears that either the Bios flash failed or you zapped the motherboard.
